@sqrt2 When I lived by a road with an apostrophe every time the council replaced the sign someone just painted one in a few days later. No idea if it's still going on but probably.

If you want a laugh find a few roads with almost identical names (or often identical ones) within their remit and FoI them on their plans to rename said streets to avoid ambiguity given their previous response.
