Today I spent about 6 hours figuring out the details of rustc bootstrapping, and got knowledge of some things I'd prefer not to. And all that only to find that the support team didn't read my ticket and just uploaded wrong sources to buildserver.

@tennoseremel this time they literally didn't read the ticket of three words, where I requested a certain commit, and just pushed a random branch (AFAIU latest dev commit at the time of push)

I was wrong not to start with verifying the source files, though it's not very clear in rustc tree, the code seems very alike in different branches, but the devil is always in the details (described in the article I mentioned)
