@fullyabstract she's strictly indoors due to foxes, bobcats, and coyotes in the neighborhood, and she's major overkill smart for this easy life so she looks for challenges @regehr @fullyabstract You might consider building a catio if you have the space! We made an outdoor enclosure that is accessible through a cat flap in a basement window. Our cats love that they can go in and out as they please. We love that they aren’t killing birds and won’t get run over by cars. @regehr @fullyabstract We happen to live in a place where lots of birds and rodents are around in the backyard, so the cats have lots of stimulation out there. @regehr Gota be up high. Maybe if you built her a cat super highway she wouldn’t do that @wilbowma she's basically a teenager with fur, if we built her something she'd ignore it and just keep chewing cardboard boxes to pieces @wilbowma for real tho her active times are early evening (yes we play with her) and then *very* early morning (no dice) @regehr Once I was at a friend's house and his orange cat, named Dip, had fallen asleep on top of a door, two legs draped down either side. While I was watching he started losing balance, slowly sliding down one side, looking like he was going to tumble. Partway sliding down he wakes up visibly startled paws scrambling until he rights himself. As his breathing slowed he relaxed his body, dropped his legs back down both sides, laid his head down on the top of the door, and fell asleep again. |
@regehr if I fits, I sits. Obviously
