1. YouTube shortens link text (why? I don’t know)
2. They put shortened URL into href (!!!)
3. Links stop working
4. They write custom javascript onClick handler to intercept clicks
5. Intercepted clicks work, but right-mouse clicks or middle button click still don’t
This industry is beyond saving
@nikitonsky probably because they want to intercept user click for analytics. That would explain why the text is shortened and why you can’t right click to copy link.
