@gkrnours The BSD docs are somehow just so consistently more accessible and humane than the GNU stuff. I don't know how that came to be, but it's a really tangible difference.
@mhoye IMO it's not only the doc. I setup my bashrc to show a fortune when I open a shell. I love the bsd ones. The linux ones not so much. I even find a lot of then plain offensive, so much that now on linux, I either swap the fortunes db for the bsd one or I just don't bother setting it.
