 @jsbarretto Own goals and delusional beliefs seem to be their specialty. The Dutch government got massive criticism of their covid policy in an official report which is probably going to end up in a drawer. But our PM was at least bright enough to wipe all texts from his phone. |
I expect the product of our unequal and capitalistic society to be uncaring and dishonest leaders that choose instead to pursue the interests of those that hold more power and wealth in society. That's a given.
I do not expect it to produce leaders that are so jaw-droppingly incompetent at following even their own goals that they're unable to preempt even the most blindingly obvious outcomes that may result from their actions.
