@xilebo But it also requires much more energy in order to do so. Energy that otherwise could be used to power a hospital, a kindergarten or a water supply station.
And speaking of water...the AI also requires water for cooling. That water won't be available to other people who might need it for more important things like farming, which they might need in order to avoid starvation. That water could be essential to save life.

@xilebo And that water won't be available for fish either. If there is no longer water for the fishes, why would you need an AI for fishing? And who get's to decide which water is being used for fishing and which is being used to supply people?
Not to mention the elephant in the room:
The AI might be great at fishing but it won't know when to stop fishing, so the fish population can't regenerate itself. It is not sustainable. And the company of the AI will simply move on to the next pond.
