This nutcase has, for the last ten or so years, promised self-driving Teslas are just a few years away (he has since revised that to "this year"). His mind has already been blown to smitherines.
He just guaranteed that it either won't ship by the end of CY2024 or else it'll be so rushed that it won't work (assuming it even gets the legal green light). I'm betting it never happens or else we'll see both.
