@gauteweb @6VCR On a Samsung Android phone, it let me set the mp4 as the lock screen wallpaper, and an unmoving version (only) as my home wallpaper. Lock screen goes from moving snow to everything freezing when I unlock it. Kinda satisfying.

@gauteweb Ah, I'm not really sure besides how I did it: Tusky, my Mastodon client on Android has a download button when I view the loop.

@weilawei @gauteweb @6VCR Which Samsung do you have? I have an S10 and I don't seem to have an option for MP4 as a wallpaper.

@weilawei Oh really. Mmm, I might have done something to the system then to not allow me to do this. Did you set the wallpaper via the Files app or Gallery app?

@adamsdesk I think I set it from the Gallery's hamburger menu when you view an individual image/video.

@weilawei Okay, I'll have to restore the default gallery app then to see. I'm presently using Simple Gallery which I'm pretty sure it doesn't support setting live wallpapers. Thanks.
