@JohnWithAnH It's so good! I've been looking for a decent logic sim for a while. Logisim was good, but its reliance on ICs was disappointing. VCB does everything right, that I've seen so far. In hindsight, doing things on a 'pixel grid' and having input/output be nodes on that grid, wireworld-style, is an obviously good idea. @JohnWithAnH Also, the simulation is really fast. The simulation of my CPU easily runs at a million TPS (which corresponds to about 30k CPU cycles per second) on my not-particularly-impressive PC. @jsbarretto just tried it out, and I'm pleasantly surprised with how user friendly it is! It seems like they struck a really nice balance between being complex enough to enable some really cool simulations, but simple enough to still feel like a game. |

Digital Works was my playground, around 2005, but now I can't find a download link I could recommend, or who wrote it.
