supported accent colors in libadwaita: - blue supported colors in Fujifilm X10: - blue :thinkeline:โ @AgathaSorceress you can blame designers for that one, we've wanted to support it for a while now  @alice@crab.garden @AgathaSorceress@fv.technogothic.net designers will always choose the option that makes things look worse in an attempt to make it look better โ:akko_sad:โ @luna technically yes, in practice you get to choose between "dark blue mode" and "light blue mode" @AgathaSorceress I do wish you could modify it through GNOME settings instead of having to install Gradience @luna I did try gradience earlier today and it feels very broken in a "you're really not supposed to do any of this" way @AgathaSorceress @luna yeah I've only ever had luck with completely seperate gtk themes in making Gnome acknowledge different color hinting.  @AgathaSorceress @luna that's because gnome thinks you're not supposed to do it, except when it's inbox with the main software. sadly gnome tweaks is also basically a to do list of stuff they aren't sure if they want to keep it or not.  @AgathaSorceress we support every end user's choice as long as it's blue :gnome: I just wanted my buttons to be pink. Why is it so hard ๐ญ Eventually found a way but then my app menu had a white background and I can't do light theme   @AgathaSorceress Makes me realize that my feature phone from 2009 (Samsung B2100) has more theming support than Gnome-ware.
 @AgathaSorceress I do unserstand why the app developers aren't that happy about complete theming, but srsly, support for recoloring should be a normal thing.  @AgathaSorceress i don't have any colour options on my Fujifilm camera :(  @AgathaSorceress Windows 3.1 has better theming than gnome in 2023, itโs a really low bar to hit  @AgathaSorceress@fv.technogothic.net I mean even gnome from 2011 had better support for theming than gnome in 2023. |
@AgathaSorceress@fv.technogothic.net GNOME in 2011 had much better support for theming than that camera. I don't know why they went down this rabbit hole.
