I remember seeing a news story of an Irish guy *jailed* in England for "stealing electricity" because he'd plugged in his phone on a train; here it was a normal part of the service, but the judge just put on the black cap and said "Do not pass Go, go straight to jail"

@sinabhfuil Right? It's only about a half step weirder than other things that I have had verified as true about England. And the Mourning was already a half-step weirder than all the other things I had had verified as true about England so it's no stranger than that on its own.
