@yogthos this is great. @zestygrass just tried it out, and it's precisely what I've been missing, thanks for the tip! @yogthos 'Stop blocking ads!' 'Me: OK stop shoving unskippable ads before during and after to the point it's ten minutes of ads for five minutes of content. @singletona @yogthos Yeah, I tried watching YouTube without a blocker and it made the YouTube experience feel worse than broadcast TV. (At least the broadcasters can set the breaks so that they don't bust into a show mid-sentence...) @yogthos Where is this message being seen? Adblock Plus on Firefox on Linux seems to be working just fine. @stevenaleach oh youtube started making a popup complaining about adblock, I started seeing it today on FF with uBlock, I just ended up adding a rule for blocking the element initially, but blocking the js source is even better :) @win8linux doh, another option is to block the UI element for the popup, I ended up doing that earlier |
