@IanMoore3000 @dangillmor I just tried that on my android (plain Mastodon app) and it just selected it like it was text Neat trick but didnโt work for me. Normally if someone said they were gonna mouse-over my emoticons I might take offense. @dangillmor About the only one I use frequently is ๐งต (thread) but is v useful given the restricted number of keystrokes we can use in posts @dangillmor though itโs worth noting emoticons are often used in ways slightly or significantly different from their โdesignedโ meaning |
