@omgubuntu I’m yet to see a resource monitor that shows CPU usage on a something like a spectrogram.

Separate windows make it difficult to gauge system load.
Line charts are too noisy, making it difficult too.
Let each core have its own track, but make them correlated in time.

@omgubuntu i really don't get this trend of making UIs with 10x more empty space than content - especially for something like this where all it's doing is showing information. the screenshot is only a 4 core CPU and already you have to scroll to see everything.

if you look at the comparison screenshot in that same article, the other ones included far more info and are imo just as readable.

@omgubuntu It's great to see more of these modern system monitors.

Hopefully, distros will also adopt one of these as the default or at least incorporate some of their improvements into GNOME System Monitor and KSysGuard.
