@tubetime I'd read that the 3.5" floppy size was partly that way to fit a specific type of mailer envelope used in Japan, which meant it could be sent cheaply back and forth by mail. Not sure if it is apocryphal or a true story. @tubetime I’m very much envious of a plastic sleeve allowing me to carry five three-and-one-quarter inch floppy diskettes in my pocket. @tubetime and not even Amstrad‘s 3“ disks. It’s like the goldilocks floppy. Not too small, not too big.
