@smurthys @olafurw Click the numbered links (I think "precise" mode requires that the answer only uses information from the links mentioned)

@sehe @olafurw OP's image shows Bing search engine; not Bing Chat.

That said, I can't reproduce OP's result in Bing search, but my search bubble is quite different. I don't even get the same UI as in OP.

@smurthys @olafurw Ah I don't ever use Bing so I don't recognize any of the UI.

Regular search from the main page gives very similar results with numbered source links for me:

@sehe @olafurw Bing Chat gives me essentially the same result as you show. Bing Search results though are quite different from both yours and OP's.

Results of a "web search" on Microsoft Bing. Black text on white background. The search query (in the text field at the top) reads "what is the best search engine?"

A list of tabs is after the query: SEARCH CHAT SHOPPING [and so on]

Part of the search result is seen after the tab names

@olafurw @sehe At least it picked two "authoritative" sources on the matter. 😉

Also, only someone at Bing is getting at fired for showing this result. As against someone else within Microsoft for being bold/dumb enough to publicly state the "fact" which Bing picked up. 😆
