- This wasn't a proposal for a european rail network, it's a rough transfer of the London Underground map to Europe
- It does show that the eurostar would go from a lot of UK stations, a plan that was sadly cancelled

 @odoruhako @yaxu It was so good. Or rather it would have been so good. Just imagine being able to get from London to Lisbon with one change. @yaxu @odoruhako Oh, I didn't know that. BUt something like this, which would be a celebration of Europe would have been brilliant. @yaxu @SteveClough But in other parts of the diagram the deviations from current reality are way bigger, that's for sure. @odoruhako @yaxu We once flew to Portugal for a holiday, and it struck me that we could have done that by train to Lisbon (we hired a car anyway, for while we were there). I feel that it would have made us more unified.  @yaxu i remember the special trains built for regional through tunnel services. They were used on the Leeds King's Cross route before being returned to France and finally scrapped     @yaxu Love how there is no way to get from Bordeaux to Toulouse without going through two other cities first. @yaxu These are the Renfe direct destinations from Spain to France.
