@gamingonlinux With only Wi-Fi and or BT being updated it's a very minor refresh, I think. It's noteworthy but no big thing ... @gamingonlinux Possibly something related to battery life and/or maybe a new base model with an SSD instead of eMMC memory, without touching the raw performance of the CPU and GPU, it may be a bit too soon for these two @gamingonlinux I hope not, at least in the next 3 years. I fear that it would make a lot of people think, in the case they made later a Steam Deck 2, "Let's wait for the revised version" and... @gamingonlinux it would be wonderful to see a lithography refresh come with the muon revision. No extra power, but cooler and better battery life never hurts. @gamingonlinux how about being generally available in Australia? Would settle for that! @gamingonlinux we dont need one yet, nor anytime soon imo. i want my hardware to last as long as possible without mid-gen refreshes |
@gamingonlinux I think we will, but it's just going to be a minor refresh where for the majority of existing owners there won't be a benefit of upgrading.
As much likely cheaper parts or improvements that help optimise manufacturing.
