If you're this kind of person, just stop following me.

This was in reply to a Minecraft article. So annoying.

@gamingonlinux Why do you get so much toxic waste in your comment-section?

@gamingonlinux "Nobody suggested you should. Maybe get that narcissism checked out before it becomes malignant."

@gamingonlinux We can take the guilt out of our addiction by using an open source launcher ๐Ÿค“

@gamingonlinux it's a reply from someone with a limited view on the world, just ignore him, blocking would also work :-)
Responses from people like them at least mean that your articles are making a difference.

@gamingonlinux I have a feeling they donโ€™t know doom is a ms game now.

Wine and Proton implementing the windows api and binary loader has been a godsend for linux gaming. Linux distros will replace core libraries that the old native games require with new ones with different version numbers, then you have to hunt down old versions or build them yourself. Donโ€™t see this as much with windows games.

Open source purists when linux becomes more popular than 1% marketshare and people actually starting to see it as an alternative (they need to lower that number)

Strange. No one should use linux to play or not play a certain game in my opinion. Linux can be used as a privacy friendly OS that lets you control and own your PC. If you like gaming and if you are satisfied with the games running on linux why shouldnt you play any game you want on linux?

@gamingonlinux Linux is about freedom to do what you want with your system.

@gamingonlinux It's funny how some people seem to think that you can avoid any kind of proprietary service or product. Yes, I fervently support FLOSS software too, but you have to be realistic.

@gamingonlinux These type of people are the same people who would also complain that <insert platform name here> doesn't have <this app> during the days when we had more than two smartphone platforms to choose from

Having looked at their other comments - you aren't missing much.

@gamingonlinux it's not only a bad comment, it's a bad comment written in a weird way making it painful to read.
