For #Signal users on #Linux (and #MobileLinux), there is a poll on the community discourse to see how many people are using Signal on Desktop and where they are getting it from, if you want to chime in: community.signalusers.org/t/si

Hopefully if we can show @signalapp@mastodon.world that there is interest, they will finally claim the #Flatpak (and hopefully the #Arm version from Elagost [1] at the same time)

I would like to take part, but you have to register.
I would like to note that the five device limit is unnecessary for the client. This limit should be removed.

Oh yes, especially as the discord community is not representative of the signal user community.

@silmathoron but have signal on two android phones and three linux computers. Using a PPA I think, without checking. Uninstalled snap.

@silmathoron
Although I use the snap getting arm support would be really interesting

@silmathoron if only they allowed voting without an account. I'm not going to sign up for an account to vote...

I would happily use Signal desktop if they release the flatpak version, the official app not the community one. Unfortunately, when I asked Signal about when will it happen they said is not even in plan. Therefore, I will have to live without this feature until I find another app.

@silmathoron I'd vote if I didn't need to create an account.
