Over the month of September, Ukraine has successfully reclaimed approximately 35 km² from Russian forces.

Since Ukraine started their southern offensive at the beginning of June, they have liberated approximately 371 km².

This means that Russia currently occupies a total of 17.48% of Ukraine.

Before the invasion, Russia held roughly 7.04% of Ukraine.

To provide context for all of these control changes, the final graph contextualizes these shifts within Ukraine as a whole.

@warmapper 17.48% of Ukraine - 7.04% of Ukraine = 10.44‬% of Ukraine. Will look at your other war maps to figure out what is in the 10.44%./gen

@warmapper illustrates nicely how the spring counteroffensive has been far less effective than previous counterattacks (but also that it was way harder and enemy more dug in, etc...). Thanks for sharing, interesting, if depressing, viewing!
