@gamingonlinux what would you recommend as alternatives? I have started a list, planning to write a blog post, but what are some solutions you think would help.

Discord is used because it's social, easy, and everyone has it installed. And there is an app for it to streamline the experience and make it consistent.

So what would your shortlist be for every joe shmoe to easily build, collaborate and share information. That is free, hosted for them, and easy to use. And on the web.

@noodlejetski @gamingonlinux forums aren't popular because it requires remembering or setting up an account on each one. Remember/bookmark urls, etc. also no apps and Tapatalk sucks.

There is a level of tech illiteracy that exists where people won't use something if they need to make a new account, or has no app, or isnt all in one place. There is a reason you get stuff like Line, WeChat or QQ, that integrate your entire life into 1 ap. I hate that it is so, but it is.
