@davew Disagree. When I argue with people on social media, I often do so with no interest in whether the person I'm arguing with changes their mind. It's about not remaining silent in the face of bigotry and hate. It's for the people watching from the sidelines, so that repugnant views do not go unchallenged. It's so that people who may be part of the group targeted by the bigot know that they are not alone.

Nevertheless, it was interesting moving from Twitter and, up to the point that logins were required, seeing how much of what one might engage with was algorithmically selected to elicit engagement. The absence of that, and ads, here is 👌.
