Yesterday, Azerbaijan launched attacks on the self-declared Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic or NKR).
After Azerbaijani forces swiftly captured territory, a ceasefire has been reached, and it's reported that the NKR Defence Force will be disbanded.
@warmapper As far as I know, AZ did not take any significant territory in the Mravdag mountains - they only claimed to. Maps of Russian peacekeepers show everything up to the ridge in their jurisdiction.
The Lachin corridor changed in august 2022, when a new road in the east was opened and the city of Lachin was given to AZ. The road crosses the border, where ARM reaches down to the hakari river. The bridge over the hakari can often be seen in photos of the later closed checkpoint.
