@gamingonlinux @zobi8225 thereโs plenty of Godot 4 in there, and right now Godot 3 is really stable and properly production ready and continues to be updated Bigger number not always better for everything  @gamingonlinux The people itself is giving a place to beings like the #Unity's CEO. Instead of using, supporting, asking, improving, helping and contributing to growth of open/libre alternatives ( that now really have a chance ). Same situation on design, stop condem to yourself. @gamingonlinux uh hard pass. I have hackers who want to pin shit on me. Let's just call it intuition. Yeah. Not that they're sadistic assholes who get off on causing people pain. @gamingonlinux I wasn't even that interested in making games but the Unity controversy makes me want to build a game with Godot lmao @gamingonlinux I like the Unity bashing as much as the next one and they sure did step into an ugly puddle of mud.. but godot isn't the answer, hyping them up just balloons the ego of a certain someone even further, w/o magically making godot anything else than a hobbyist project for small games @tizilogic Sounds like you have some beef with Godot that is clouding your judgement @gamingonlinux oh no, I think it's a great project at what it is. but it has some serious limitations which keep it from being chosen by anything more than a small (hobby) project or game jam entry.. I have a hard time seeing people waste time and money on an engine that is just not well suited for 3D games. at least not w/o a major overhaul of the core of it PS: I still hope a lot buy the bundle and you get money, since I like your content and everyone is allowed to make mistakes sometimes๐ @tizilogic it already has quite a few successful released games with it ya know...  @gamingonlinux One question, don't think it's the best place but anyway, how are the courses of Zenva, I've heard really opposite opinions and would like to know a bit more. Not only for this case. |
