@acka47 Interesting parallel discussions at #CoRDI2023 today where we're also hearing more about #Wikibase for authority records across library (& other research) institutes (i.e. this project - tib-op.org/ojs/index.php/CoRDI) Shame both events are happening in parallel 😅

@acka47 Just as an added note, I was prompted by your original toot and follow up discussions with colleagues here that sometimes the wiki community doesn't communicate enough to the outside :) But just on the point of the WB cloud, it's been around for a while - first as an alpha product by Adam Shorland (some history - addshore.com/2022/01/pre-launc) and now in its latest iteration which was announced at the WikidataCon in 2021 (some context for the Wikibase track at the con here - blogs.tib.eu/wp/tib/2021/11/05). It has its limits for institutional use, but for us at the @tibosl always interesting to hear about new use cases esp. from the library field of course :)
