@bea @april by design, the same way Amazon’s four-year cliff is by design. ಠ_ಠSomebody somewhere in upper mgmt thinks this policy works (for whatever value of “works” they are optimizing for) or it would have been changed years ago.
@bea @april Same thing happened with janitor jobs, teaching jobs, not police though, etc.
