@sebsauvage @movodehe @smallcircles @organicmaps I once had it lead me to a McDonald's that had been torn down years before. When I got home I *fixed it*. From my phone. Using open source software (Vespucci). I didn't check how long it took for Magic Earth to pull in the change from OSM, but it wasn't more than a week. That's pretty damn cool.

MagicEarth does a pretty good job. They have several map updates per year.
Also car navigation is *way* more clear than Waze, GoogleMaps or OrganicMaps.
And the application - although not as light as OrganicMaps - is pretty light and runs well on older phones.
