@smallcircles Organic Maps is great and I use it A LOT - but right now it cannot replace my TOMTOM - or I occasionally have to "cheat" and look at google maps on someone elses phone - because it does not have street numbers in Australia (or Thailand?). I understand the street number thing is a limitation of the underlying OSM data set apparently. 3 comments
so can I infer from this comment the functionality is there, but it just doesn't work for Australia as there is not enough street number information? Organic maps doesn't tell me this, street numbers just dont work, and it doesn't say why. is there a way to get info on the street number coverage in an area? @zog @smallcircles 💯 func it there, if you zoom in on osm (eg https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/-37.80998/144.96727) you can see that some building have number and some dont. street complete is perfect for wandering to and waiting for the tram :) ive been taking the scenic route to the duopoly mart just to update my hood. |
