AllThePlaces is a project that scrapes the web to collect as many business and POI locations as possible.  This image shows the AllThePlaces data displayed as a custom data layer in Rapid Editor.  The  locations appear as cyan points on a map centered around Plainfield, New Jersey.

@zverik @bhousel @ian I still want to work on a server to do the conflation, so ATP can be a normal Rapid source. You should consider adding those sources to Every Door.

@zverik @bhousel @ian for using this data, LWG recently said first party websites are OK as a source for OSM. However the UK community continues to be scared about addresses.

But even if you excluded addresses, there is still great data there like opening hours

@Cj @bhousel @ian yeah I'm thinking more of emails, websites, brands, that kind of thing. Really tiresome to type all that out while on the go.
