Itโs just funny every time i see a meltdown over gaming itโs the type people who would yell โsnowflake!โ And they get offended and need to scream over choosing how they wish to be referred to. Itโs intentional rage bait and just so pathetic. What's your personality? "Oh, I scream online about PRONOUNS in VIDEO GAMES, in games where you're literally ROLE PLAYING" @gamingonlinux "minecraft was WOKE under NOTCH!11! THE END POEM USES THEY/IT FOR THE PLAYER!!!111!" - imaginary twitter user @gamingonlinux It is just a matter of economics. If I get free money for including pronouns in my game and I need more funding, pronouns it is. Next year, when the LGTV thing is considered old-fashioned, if they want me to include aliens for diversity and pay me, guess what? @gamingonlinux this toot made me realise that Elon stole the opportunity to use X as a placeholder for a generic website..... ๐ฆ @gamingonlinux their real pronouns are idont/understand/what/pronouns/are/ifailedmiddleschool/trump2024 |
@gamingonlinux If there's one kind of game where asking the player their pronouns makes sense that would be in an RPG.
The question might be out of place in other genres like an online shooter for example, because who cares and why does it matter to anyone? I'm just going to shoot people in the face, nothing else matters. But a game where you're supposed to be playing the role of a character with an identity that you choose yourself? Of course that would have to be a thing, why wouldn't it be?
