@KewlCat @b0rk @matt this is me... But following though why the first connection to SQL server is slow by 15s leads though the dotnet drive code, to the dotnet SSL code, to... Why can't our company make certs properly‽ Then having to draw pictures to explain why the CRL must either respond or not exist instead of just spin when trying to connect... Until a 15s timeout occures. Le sigh

@matt @b0rk a former colleague used to refer to himself as the “remembrancer” as he’d been there so long he was the only person who knew not only how things worked but why they’d been set up that way to start with
