@kudra relax into this parenting thing. She’ll develop socially appropriate speech mannerisms as soon as she’s embedded in a peer group.

@bigjsl ummm... speech mannerisms? This is her not being able to be understood, with, for example, bear, bunny, ball and butterfly all sounding fairly similar while she can clearly demonstrate she knows what they all are (independently names them and can point to an image of directly if named) and is physically capable of making the different sounds needed, she just hasn't put together the need to be more specific when expressing. It's not just an issue of not having developed the capacity to vocalise specific sounds, which is normal to take more time to resolve than 24 months.
