Checked out @frameworkcomputer 's #FrameworkLaptop 16 today. I really liked what I saw.

Kudos on the configuration experience! It was already a lot of fun simply selecting my preferred hardware on the website. I like configurability, and definitely recommend it to others.

My current laptop is in excellent shape, so I will not be buying anything yet. The next one may very well be a Framework, though!

The exact month I decided that my old one brutally killed itself, and there are no parts out there. So I had to actually act on that decision.

@bnijbakker @frameworkcomputer same here. Although my laptop is pretty old, it still works. I'm really thinking to replace it with a framework laptop.

@bnijbakker @frameworkcomputer I have both a 2014 Dell XPS, and 2015 MacBook Pro (both of which have shown their age again and again in various ways), so really looking forward to the first batch of reviews of the Framework 16! If the screen options were better, I'd consider the 14 given that I do have a preference for travelling light as of recent.

Curious, what config did you go with?

For the Framework? Pretty much the max.
Not because I have the money ready to spend, but because I wanted to see what is possible and what I would need to save up in order to get there.
