2021 in personal review:
- i got better at videogames, notably shmups, i feel like i actually might 1cc PCB at some point.
- dungeons of dredmor remains unconquered
- i managed to play and finish multiple games this year including replaying some classic point-and-click adventure games
- gotten to the point where level 7-8 feels the most comfortable in maimai
- managed to lose some weight and overall finally adjust to new situation food-wise.
- survived this year, found someone, got medical support, found some chill.
- finally re-implemented smart lights like they were in 2020 except even better
- honestly the best improvement/purchase of lifetime so far is this MIDI controller I bought and the tool I wrote for it + PulseAudio setup. Even if originally i wrote it for controlling OBS (back when I was streaming) the PA side of it remains extremely useful - being able to instantly physically lower volume of game and music to hear teammates better is a godsend.
- got rid of bunch of old stuff by sending it to my mother and brothers, won "best son ever" award in doing so.
- watched ena and made enabot, still manually operated though, but it's fine
- despite sorry state of pleroma managed to contribute some things to FE
