@J12t But the news ban is Canada's news ban. Canada can lift the news ban any time Canada wants to, all they have to do it no longer have laws taxing sharing news. Facebook doesn't want it, they are just doing what Canada asks. 😞 I hate when I have to admit Facebook are in the right. @pre What you outline is the surface-level here and now dispute. But it occurred to me there is a much larger war going on. @J12t And to be honest it might take Canada longer to change a law than a fire to burn a town so maybe emergency exemptions are called for. But indeed, copyright and data-ownership between the mega-corps and the governments and the people is the larger war of the decade. |
