Wow Happy Birthday Debian, and RIP Ian Murdock. He did a great thing for the world. I've been using Debian since mid 1990s, Its always been rock solid.

@Detail @liw Perhaps it's Linux (the kernel) you're thinking of? That started in '91 IIRC.

@liw Ah, SLS, my first distro. Recently returned to daily personal Linux with Debian on a new ThinkPad, and although the return was bumpy, it was familiar and problems were easily fixed.

Thank you for the reminder of Debian's anniversary!
