Linus is joining Elon in a very unprestigious club.   @gamingonlinux I was actually one of the unsuccessful tryhards attempting to work there, but now that I've seen this, it's clear it transitioned to being about the bottom line as opposed to about community as soon as the corporate sponsors wanted more out of an influencer pool of talent. This just screams we need leadership in better corporate environments, which is extremely hard to come by as basically all of tech is doubling down to a race to the bottom. @muratk5n LTT is literally nothing to do with Linux so I don't see how people would get confused, the context is right there in the name in the original toot @gamingonlinux Heard plenty of stories about Linus himself being an absolute ass to deal with by companies that none of this is (sadly) surprising. @gamingonlinux Madison's situation always felt off. Turns out it's even worse and more heartbreaking than everyone thought.
Also, longtimers might remember Naomi Wu once accused Linus of inappropriate behaviour. I guess we'll have to reevaluate that one too.
