@jhpot IMO captchas are a thing of the past. They have disadvantages re accessibility, re user experience...
Any other concept to prevent bots seems better.
There might be some strategies to use questions as text (riddle-like or "fill in the word"), but those still are a hurdle to humans and possibly no problem for bots (and AI). 🤷
