@J12t @mauve It’s almost like when profit is no longer the only motivation, people feel compelled to build cool stuff.
@tnypxl @mauve I think it's more like if you can be quite certain that nobody will be able to turn off the API you depend on next Monday, as it happened with many (all?) centralized platforms by now.
@J12t @mauve I remember each of the big platforms closed the doors on developers. Never seen two major platforms do it nearly at the same time.
