@J12t @karissabe it's a good article, although it could explain what decentralization means better. In general, I find the verge's activitypub article to still be the best

@karissabe Oh, it's possible :-) The Washington Post has links on the profile pages of all its journalists who have fediverse accounts, in case you need an example to make your case.

Not only that, they officially verify those accounts, there's a post where they describe this: washpost.engineering/heres-how

@J12t @karissabe Can we please stop giving #Bluesky and #Threads #Meta credit for being #decentalized platforms when all they have done is announce the intention someday to be actually be decentralized. Both are currently entirely #centralized corporate platforms.
