@arstechnica I really can't say enough good things about my Steam deck. Even at its price point, it's one of the most happy-making tech purchases I've made in years.

@akmur @arstechnica Unlike every other gaming platform in the house, it's also the one that caused other members of my family to start gaming. One of my partners discovered Marvel's Midnight Suns and now we have to practically schedule time to use the Steam Deck.

@roadriverrail @arstechnica I like mine too, but I just find myself not playing it much anymore. Although that’s true for games in general too πŸ˜•

@roadriverrail @arstechnica it's so surprisingly practical, and makes it much easier to game companionably, hanging out while others are doing their projects and entertainments, wherever that may be.

@arstechnica macos, not "the mac". there is a difference between hardware/architecture and operating system. would you write "freebsd is surpassing the pc"? get it right.

@arstechnica Ars: "It's not the year of Linux on desktop; it's the year of Linux on a handheld."
Also Ars: "Windows was still reported by 96.21 percent of users' systems"

Why are you like this?
