@SallyStrange@strangeobject.space i feel like for urban areas in germany, it is definitely a good alternative. i was looking through my hometown hoping to fill things out, but i just found that everything was extensively indexed. for all of my navigation needs, it does the job.

as for android clients i want to recommend Organic Maps.
