@Mastodon @ZDF @tagesschau @BBCRadio4 This is so good. IMO they ought to give a try to having the main news-feed X accounts they have also be present here and give us the news in the same way. I'd wager they'd quickly build quite a large following.

It will be interesting to see whether the fact I use an EU based Mastodon instance with me living in the UK affects my user experience of items they post. (GDPR/cookies/popups ... all that irritating stuff that Mastodon seems to calm down.)

It's a sign that they and the wider world in general is not just looking at Mastodon as a mere alternative to Twitter. They also seem to be starting to see the importance of decentralized social media.
