@fenndev imho the Commons Clause and the perceived need for it is a good indication that the two licensing models we understand very well — proprietary and open source software — aren’t and can’t be the end of all licensing innovation. The particular clause is a patch, a band aid. Perhaps the only palatable one at this point, idk. But I sure hope for more substantive licensing and funding model innovation, because they go hand in hand.
