Newer USB versions be like USB 3.2 Gen IIA3 2/4 and I'm sure this won't work with them

I like the idea of having a finite number of releases to get things right. I imagine feature creep would become impossible.

I can totally see a bizarre negotiation in an off-the-wall sitcom hinging on an overworked procurement manager desperately trying to source USB 0.2 before the end of the financial year.
