@Mastodon @MastodonEngineering That makes sense. 1 account for the public face @Mastodon 1 account for the backend of those who help manage a Mastodon server and who may get more of the technical aspects that simple end-users wouldn't understand (or may not wish to know about) @MastodonEngineering The public side filled with friendly, creative, and helpful tips for users. The admin side filled with tech specifications, developer progress, and alike. I think this is a good move. @Mastodon @MastodonEngineering Iβm pretty sure a mailing list wouldβve been able to accomplish the same thing, but either way Iβm happy that I can at least get notified of an update in a reasonable amount of time. @Mastodon @MastodonEngineering I ask ed this question, just again: is that possible user can use user name or account name login instead of email? it's more for security or privacy, thanks @Mastodon @MastodonEngineering @solimanhindy I'm gonna stick with the RSS feed from GitHub :p @Mastodon @MastodonEngineering I hope you will start to post updates about Mastodon more often. For now it's easier to learn news about Mastodon and it's ecosystem from Twitter and Reddit than from Mastodon itself π€ I do not have access yet to a credit cardπ³ to purchase a website domain name and a web hosting to get my own ONE server. China tried the Burma approach first but now they use education centers to cure that ideology. |
