Two weeks ago the fridge in my apartment broke. Me and my wife were trying hard to do some tricks about him but we gave up, it was a 20 year old fridge. Yesterday we have finally decided to buy a new one, and boy oh boy was it expensive. But the feeling that for the first time in my life I'm gonna have my own fridge that I chose and I like makes it a bit easier to let the money go.

@blue@quietplace.xyz is the fridge also masculine in Portuguese?

(.. that's how they catch us, gendered languages native speakers, e.g. my US colleague was kinda surprised when I accidentally addressed a computer as 'he'..)

@taxuswc@shitpost.poridge.club nopes, it's geladeira, it's "she". It's fun, cuz talking to me my wife were saying something like "let's pick her up", it confuzed me a bit at first.

But I'm afraid with the amount of errors I make I don't even need to be spotted 😆
