Second, other Open Hardware projects could learn from it, taking inspiration or design decisions. This will improve the overall landscape of available open devices.

@bemyak @soller yeah that makes sense, although how repairable is a board like this going to be, I would expect most of the components to be SMD. It’s definitely a great opportunity for others to learn from it.
